  1. Yes i've ever heard about that, i think it's a reasonable thing if they still living with their parents until they have their own money to support their life.

    1. I think a young person who is still living with their parents is okay, as is the case with the corona virus now, which is causing the economy

      Hapus
    2. The high rate of unemployment is one of the big factors of why there's still many young people who still live with their parents.

      Hapus
    3. I think it's natural because they're still young, as long as they don't have a family

      Hapus
    4. I think, it's okay to living at home with your parents. Once you're independent enough, you have to leave home. This has another effects on the property rental market.

      Hapus
    5. Everyone should leave their parents' house with
age 21. It's best to make them more independent and stress free but these days there are many reasons why they have to stay at their parents' house. Researchers say there has been a recent increase in the number of young adults returning to live with their parents. Contributing factors to this spike were the economic downturn and increase in unemployment caused by the coronavirus.

      Hapus
    6. but it's not that if they continue to be under the auspices of their parents, they will become spoiled children and not independent, while they will later have families, they should work and learn independently because their parents can't always accommodate them. And also as parents they should teach them to live independently.

      Hapus
    7. I think it doesn't matter if they stay at their parents' house if they are already in college or working, also to save costs maybe

      Hapus
    8. I don't think it's bad because it's their own choice

      Hapus
    9. I think, as long as it doesn't burden their parents, they are free to stay with their parents or not. because it is impossible for parents to influence if their children live with their parents.

      Hapus
  2. okay now let's talk about the keywords in the article what do you think?. In your opinion, what is study / research / young / adults / home /
    parents / younger generation / downturn /
    economy / analyst / student loan / debt /
    pandemic / stable / property rental / cities ????

    1. I think the article explains that 25% of young adults in the US still choose to live in their parents' homes. this has been stated by researchers since 1940, but on the other hand researchers also see that currently there are still many young adults living with their parents due to the corona virus, this has resulted in a lot of unemployment with a fairly rapid spike. so they decided it would be better to live with their parents. but this also causes losses in property rental services because many people experience financial difficulties which result in arrears everywhere, therefore it is very important to think carefully about when is a good age if you want to have your own home so that problems like this can be overcome. but from the past until now there are still many young adults who want to live with their parents which of course has their own reasons, but will this mind change over time? does anyone think the same?

      Hapus
    2. yeahh, I think so, because what you said is right

      Hapus
    3. I think the article explains that a lot of adults still live with their parents, according to research conducted about 52% or 26.6 billion adults, they don't go because most of them are depressed and finally decide to come back in other words. the outside world is hard for them

      Hapus
    4. I think I have the same thoughts as you Inayah

      Hapus
    5. I think i agree with inayah too heheh😁

      Hapus
    6. Yes i agree with you inayah, The number of US young adults living with their parents is at or near an all time high, and the corona virus pandemic is likely the reason

      Hapus
    7. I have the same thought with you Inayah. They are still young and not independent to leave home.

      Hapus
    8. yaaa, i agree with inayah the article explains that 25% of young adults in the US still choose to live in their parents' homes. this has been stated by researchers since 1940, and then they decided it would be better to live with their parents.

      Hapus
    9. In my opinion, the article discusses research which states that there are still many children under the age of 30 who still live with their parents.

      Hapus

      Hapus
    7. Read paragraph 2 once again, and carefully.

"For the most part, nobody wants to be living at home with mom and dad".

The key words is "most" and "nobody". So, it mean that most of US young people doesn't want to lives with their parents.

      Hapus
    8. why do you think in the US a young adult would not want to live with their parent fan?

      Hapus

      Hapus
  7. Now let's talk about discussion-student B
Here's my answer for this question,

    a) What do you think about what you read?
In my opinion, in general, young adults who are in the US should choose to stay at home with their parents due to the current pandemic conditions. By staying at home with their parents, I think it will reduce the burden a little in dealing with finances to meet the needs of daily life.

    b) What do you think of student loans?
I think, student loans provided by the government are very burdensome for the students' families because if they want to get these funds, they are required to replace them in the future. The interest given in this loan will also increase continuously. With this interest, the United States is currently experiencing a student loan crisis. The money is given to pay tuition fees or meet educational needs during college. However, not a few of them abuse it for sightseeing, vacationing, and shopping for something. This abuse causes them to be unable to pay their loans and causes an economic crisis.

    c) Why will it take a decade for young adults to be able to leave home?
The probability of moving before the age of 27 correlates with several individual characteristics. Women are more likely to move than men, and whites are more likely to move than blacks or latinos. Generally, young adults with higher educational attainment tend to leave their parents' homes at a higher rate. Those with a General Education Development (GED) credential are an exception, as they are more likely to transfer than those with multiple colleges. Among individuals taking the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) exam,10 those with higher scores were more likely to transfer.
The instability that moving out creates is a part of the developmental transition that is emerging adulthood. “Young people who leave home for the first time do experience it as a crisis, although they are excited to leave,” says Mann-Feder. “They are overwhelmed at first by the many responsibilities involved in taking care of themselves and running a household.”

    BalasHapus
    Balasan
    1. d) What are the bad things about living with your parents?
      - There can often be disputes because there are differences of opinion between you and your parents about how to build a family/household.
      - Other people may judge you are not independent because you still live with your parents after marriage.
      - You and your partner will feel a great financial and mental burden if you have lived at your parents' house for years. Therefore, discuss this carefully between you and your partner, along with your parents.

      e) Is it better to rent or buy an apartment?
Renting is great for those of you who are still unstable and provides good mobility and flexibility. Meanwhile, buying an apartment is good to be placed for family/private or investment.

      f) Would you prefer to live at home or on your own?                                                       I have never lived alone before so I prefer to live with my parents because one of the biggest advantages of living at home is the luxury of having time to sit down and think of length about your career decisions. Another reason is that you can save a lot of money and you can focus more on your studies. Being less burdened by problems like cooking and cleaning leaves plenty of room for long, uninterrupted study sessions. But if one day in an urgent situation and conditions that allow I will try to live alone so that I can practice my independence.

      g) What advice do you have for young adults?
Stop trying to figure out what only time can answer. When you wake up, be your best self. Be responsible, laugh, eat well, sleep well, be friendly and kind and continue to develop your talents and hobbies. Follow your heart but take your thoughts with you. Educate yourself about the things you want to do. Over time, you will clearly see what you have time for and what you want to do. No one is in a hurry, and no one has the right to take it step by step and learn to study yourself and see what you are not interested in and what you are losing interest in.
With time, dear young adults, with the right timing and decisions, everything will make sense and you will come to know who you are and what your place in the world is. Now, be your best self. You are amazing!

      h) What questions would you like to ask the researchers?
What has been the impact of your researchs?

How about you all guys? are you agree with me or not? Please let me know.

    1. food is the best thing about living at homestay? and when eating together that's the best time to learn English and chat and increase vocabulary. low rent the basic homestay booking would be on a half board basis which is bed breakfast and evening meal and the student would exepct obviously their own room unless specified, in which case the may share with a friend in a twin room basis. but they would expect obviously a bed. Chatting is the best way to learn English
