Airlangga: the omicron variant appears due to vaccine injustice

Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto said Indonesia would bring the health sector agenda to this year's G20 event. The goal is to encourage global health to be more inclusive.

Airlangga said Indonesia has a mission to bring the interests of developing countries. Especially on justice in the health sector, such as justice in access to COVID-19 vaccines.

The General Chairperson of the Golkar Party DPP is of the opinion that the emergence of the Omicron variant in various parts of the world is caused by the injustice of the COVID-19 vaccine. The omicron variant itself was first detected in an African country.
